Hi, I’m Nancy.
I am a writer and cat mom based in Boston, USA.
Letters From Rainbow Bridge began from my own experience of losing my childhood best friend, Mango.
For 9 years, Mango was my sidekick.
He grew up alongside me, keeping me quiet company through every late night at my desk, following me around the house like a soft little shadow, and always knowing exactly when I needed a headbutt or a soft purr on a hard day.
When kidney failure took Mango away, I wasn't by his side; it was the day of my final exam at school. That guilt weighed on me for a long time. For months, I couldn't stop looking at his favorite sunny spot on the floor, wishing I could hold him just one last time, or receive a sign that he forgave me and was finally at peace.
That heavy, aching loss was where Letters From Rainbow Bridge was born.
I started this space because I survived that exact heartbreak, along with all the silent "what ifs" and regret. Every piece here is made to bring comfort, to ease the guilt, and to hold onto the love that never truly leaves us.
If you’re here with a heavy grieving heart, please know that you gave them a wonderful life, and they knew how deeply they were loved.
I hope this space brings a little light and peace back into your days, just as Mango’s memory continues to do for mine.
